Visitors on Campus
Parents are welcome on campus. For the protection of the children, and in respect for the teacher’s instructional responsibilities, please follow the following procedures:
- 1. Schedule your classroom visit in advance and always sign in with the office personnel. You may call (858)586-7001 and request a meeting with a teacher through the counseling office. Please allow 24 hours for the meeting to be scheduled.
- 2. ALL PARENTS (VOLUNTEERS OR VISITORS) ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN IN AT THE SCHOOL OFFICE, regardless of visit’s length. Please inform the office staff the purpose of the visit.
- 3. The office staff will issue a visitor’s badge which should be worn during your visit.
- 4. While on campus, please do not interrupt the instructional time that your child and other learners have with their teachers during the day by spontaneously dropping by.
- 5. If you are a volunteer, a member of the PTSA, a field trip chaperone, you should not conduct any parent/teacher conferences that are not pre-scheduled conferences.
