7th Grade Arizona Trip
SEVENTH GRADE TRIP TO ARIZONA

Start planning now to be a part of the Arizona Trip! For four fabulous days, May 11-14, 2011, you will have an opportunity to travel back in time and out in space.

  • Look deeply into the earth's geologic past as you visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon.
  • Walk where dinosaurs once roamed at Dinosaur Tracks near the Painted Desert.
  • Crunch along lava paths at Sunset Crater Volcano outside the San Francisco Peaks where more than 40 volcanoes dot the landscape.
  • See the "deep impact" of a meteor at Meteor Crater, and look at the stars through the telescope at Lowell Observatory.
  • Trace the history of the current day Hopi and Navajo as you visit the cave dwelling of Montezuma's Castle, Walnut Canyon and the ruins at Wupatki.
  • Learn about Native American heroes, the Code Talkers, on your tour of the campus of Northern Arizona University.
  • Make good friends and a lifetime of great memories on this fun and educational trip.
