School Safety and Transportation Information
Walking to School, Riding the Bus, Riding a Bicycle School starts at 7:15 a.m. Students are allowed on campus at 6:45 am. to wait in the Shuttle Court. Please allow extra time for traffic congestion. School safety is everyone's concern! Please read these tips for more safety information. Walking to School - Walking is great exercise. Only wear one earbud/headphone so you can hear traffic and be aware of the environment around you. Bicycling to School - Some more great exercise! California State Law says that you must wear a helmet. Bring a chain and lock to keep your bike safely locked up in our bike rack. For more information, please read the Student Planner pages. Driving to School - If you are driving your student to school, help us to be a good neighbor and park in legal areas. Please do not block driveways. It is illegal to make U-turns in front of the school. Please follow the directions of the crossing guard. Bus Riders - Bus stops and times will be mailed to you by the Transportation Department about a week before school starts. Only students enrolled through certain programs are eligible for transportation services. For more details, please read the transportation section. |
